Overview
Sighted set out to turn scattered UAP sightings into a credible public record — something that treats provenance the way an evidence locker would, not the way a forum does.
We built the platform around trust: a real-time global map, a guided submission flow that captures clean and consistent data, and a public audit log so investigators don't have to take anyone's word for it.
Our approach
- A custom Next.js application with a live, filterable map of sightings as they come in.
- A three-step guided report wizard that structures messy submissions into reviewable records.
- A public audit log and timestamping so every record carries its own receipts.
- Companion iOS and Android apps so observers can report straight from the field.
Results
- A reporting platform that reads like a system of record, not a message board.
- Clean, structured submissions from a flow anyone can complete in minutes.
- Investigator-grade transparency through a public, verifiable audit trail.
What we built with
“Sighted is the first reporting platform I've seen that treats provenance the way an evidence locker would. The receipts are right there in the audit log.”
